Drop-In Services

A Place Called Home's Drop-In Services strive to prevent homelessness. Whether it is a family concerned they may be evicted from their home or a previous guest who is at risk of becoming homeless again, this program is designed to assist with various concerns or circumstances that, if left unresolved, could result in homelessness. This program runs 24/7.

Adult Trustee Services

Adult trustee services are available through referrals from community partners. This program works with clients to develop budgeting and financial tools to promote housing stability.

Hours	Administration / Front Desk / Trustee Services Hours: Mon to Fri 9 am-4:30 pm Drop-In Services: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
Areas Served	Haliburton County ; Kawartha Lakes
Eligibility	Drop-In Services: Those in need who are not currently residing in the shelter and have an extenuating circumstance that may threaten, or currently threatens, their ability to maintain their housing. Adult Trustee Services: Referrals must be made through community partners.

Languages	English - Reception; Interpretive Services - Provided when a language barrier exists
