Description (Service)

The Infant and Child Development Program supports families with children from birth to school entry who are at risk for, or experiencing a delay in any area of development. The Infant and Child Development Specialist visits a child in their family home, regularly, to provide the following services:

  • Developmental Screening and Assessment to measure a child's area of strength and needs
  • Individual Family Service Plan establishing child and family goals with ongoing strategies built into the family daily routine
  • School Readiness Assessment
  • Transition to school support
  • Consultation with other service providers
